How many sessions are typically needed?
Every tattoo is different. The number of treatments depends on ink color, depth, age, location, and your body's response. While some tattoos fade quickly, others require additional sessions. We'll give you an honest estimate after reviewing your tattoo.
Does Tattoo Removal Hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as similar to the snap of a rubber band against the skin. To improve comfort, we use professional skin cooling during treatment to help reduce discomfort and protect the surrounding skin. Every person's pain tolerance is different, but most treatments are completed in just a few minutes.
What is the recovery time?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. The treated area may feel similar to a mild sunburn for a day or two. We'll provide simple aftercare instructions to help your skin heal properly.
How long should I wait between treatments?
We generally recommend waiting 9–12 weeks between treatments. Your body continues clearing shattered ink particles long after your appointment, and many tattoos continue to fade for several months.
Waiting longer may allow for additional natural fading and could reduce the total number of treatments needed for some clients. If your goal is to remove your tattoo as quickly as possible, returning around the 9–12 week mark is usually the best balance between safety and progress.
